Career Goals

Pika and Sarah with Anastasia, the newest member of the Hooters family! I don't really know how to tie this "cool story" into the Think Thank blog, but it's too funny NOT share it. With school tuition at UW through the roof and then the all to familiar life expenses of rent, food and i-phones, one of the student workers at my other job had to find a second source of income. Well, she did. She is now a Hooters Girl. I just couldn't believe my eyeballs when she showed us her uniform. Taupe tights, white tube-socks and sneakers, a translucent tank top and the shortest shorts in existence besides on the beaches of Rio. So if you're in Seattle and want to grab some wings, go to Hooters and ask to sit at Anastasia's table. And don't forget to tip! College ain't cheap!

Roby Pop-Ins

Eighth grader Roby came by the office for a "job shadow" for school credit.  We took that opportunity to have him do some of the Think Thank dirty work.  "Dirty" indeed.

Put on your TBS, carhearts, and grab some beer. We're goin 4by'n!!

Last weekend, a friend of mine invited me to go 4x4'n. Knowing that he was really into rock crawling and had a badass buggy Photobucket, I couldn't say no. Reader Pit, here we come. Right off the bat, we start climbin over some of the craziest rock faces I've seen. Half of the time, I had serious doubts that we were gonna make it over those things.PhotobucketPhotobucket

I like trees. Photobucket

So lunch time rolls around and its time for burgers, brewsPhotobucket
and Bikes tryin to cross the river Photobucket
After a quick meeting, we set off again starting with a river crossing. we did much better than the bikes.
Photobucket We cruised for a while and dropped down into this
dried up river. We found this little waterfall zone. My homie asks, "do you think we can fit through
there"...?! I like to test things so i said, "YUP". It took us a few attempts but we made it up. Keith
dropped in for his attemp but wasn't so lucky...

The day has been long at this point. its about 5 o'clock and I'm WASTED!! So we head back down the dried up
river and made a move back towards camp. Along the way, I saw these two dudes rallying a 4 wheeler.
As they passes us, I think they mentioned that they were aspen bound.
 Photobucket
What a day!! One last meeting along the trail and we headed out. New experience in my book! Thanks Jason!

LDOH

Seems like so long ago now, my Last Day On Hill. And Liam already handled that shit on t-dubs. But here are a couple of picks from the step up session. It was rad seeing Lando up there, he held down the grill along with Jake Blauvelt.
Pat got super beasted on some sort of double cork attempt, but not before he stomped down the double beezy. Bogart was steezy but lazy, that's just how it goes on LDOH.  Edgers was ripping and lots of Montana homies were there, like Maggie.
Now summer is here and I couldn't be happier, I just wish people wouldn't run there cars in to Pika while she bikes to work! jb
