Video Man Heading to Sacramento Friday, 10/19!

Come out to Ace of Spades Friday night in Sacramento, CA and hang out with Lib Tech's Jesse Burtner and Flow/Arnette rider Nial Romanek.

Here's the poster from Ground Zero, the hosts of this fine event. There will be some kind of "Bucking Snowboard" there where you can win prizes. I'm not going to lie, my curiosity if piqued. I may have to try it, better wear some jeggings.

Advanced tickets are on sale at all Ground Zero shops:

Thanks Spokane and Spread the Shred!

Spread The Shred beckoned us to Spokane, WA Saturday making the 4 1/2 hour drive fly by. Spokane is a special place really, a large city with a small-town feel and a close-knit snowboard community. Several local ski-hills including Mt. Spokane, Lookout and 49 Degrees North donated a ton of day passes and even a couple of season's passes to the raffle and kids were stoked!

Thanks for everyone who came out to Spread the Shred and support SOS! Sponsors came out in full force to support the cause and I hope everyone left with a little something to take home.
The DWD Team Video started the night off! The Garland Theater's sounds system proved plenty capable off handling the upbeat soundtrack. The energy from the crowd was amazing, even the surliest Canadians would have been heart-warmed. Mind the Video Man closed the night off and we were truly moved by the reception from the crowd and felt like we had some long-time supporters in the audience. Spokane seems like our kind of town, and we'll be back next year for sure!

Jesse with the Lib Tech Burtner Box Scratcher 151 Raffle Winner!

Big thank you's to Zachary and Martin for putting on one awesome show, even cutting snowflakes and carving pumpkins to make the night extra special. Also thanks to Frequency, Snowboarder, Lib Tech, Arbor, ThirtyTwo, all of the local shops that came to show their support, SOS, and most of all the nicest most down-to-earth rippers who make Spokane one of my favorite new places to visit!

SLC/Reno/Spokane THIS WEEK!

The Video Man is on the move! He's been to Denver, Burlington, Vancouver, Duluth, Minneapolis, had 2 sold out shows in Los Angeles, 1 sold out show in Seattle, and is now turning up the heat and making appearances in SLC, Reno and Spokane this week!

Salt Lake City is going down THURSDAY night at Spidelli's. Bundy has the night off so is going to get loose right along side of you. I had the honor of seeing him dance it up at the Downtown Throwdown afterparty in Seattle last weekend and it was quite a treat.

As SLC is home to so many Think Thankers and Dinos don't be surprised to see Beresford, Stevens, Hammid, Sean Black, Ross, Sean Lucey, Bogart in the melee'.

A Think Thank/DWD premiere wouldn't be complete without a board to win and Lib Tech has graciously supplied SLC with a Burtner Box Scratcher for one lucky jibber who either eats enough pizza slices to earn raffle tickets or buys them for a buck apiece.

RENO is going down FRIDAY night at Freight House. Eternal Snow does it up big, and with Givin's ToO and the DWD Team Video premiering with Mind the Video Man you will bear witness to a whole smorgashboard of rail riding and freestyle moves.

Newcomer Nial Romanek will be on the scene along with DWD's Ben Bogart, so treat them to a beer and a high five or two if you see them.

Last but not least is the 4th annual SPREAD THE SHRED in SPOKANE, WA Saturday night at The Garland Theater. Jesse and I have always wanted to personally attend, and finally this year, we're going to make it a road trip and drive over from Seattle for the event. Spread the Shred is a benefit for SOS (Snowboard Outreach Society) that helps gets at risk youth out onto the hill. It's a good cause folks!
